A business in downtown St. John’s says they were unfairly targeted by officials.
CJ’s Critters Snacks Inc. posted on Facebook that they were raided on Thursday by RNC and NLC members for possession of CBD oil and products.
In the post, they indicate that the store was shut down, video security was disabled, and a number of products were seized.
The post states that the owner has been in touch with a lawyer to determine what the next step for the shop will be.
However, they expressed concern that they were unfairly targeted for vending CBD products, while other stores in town continue selling similar products without issue.
