After several decades of serving the community with their baked goods and memorable service, The Corner Store in the Goulds is closing its doors this weekend.

The family-run business was taken over by the current owners 12 years ago. They took to Facebook yesterday to announce the closing but not without thanking their customers.

The Corner Store was known to many as a go-to “one stop shop” for birthday cake, pizza and ice cream. The shop was the centre of the Goulds community for many years.

The store closes permanently tomorrow evening at 8:00 p.m.
