Snowmageddon and the impact of the eight day State of Emergency had a significant impact on many businesses on the northeast Avalon… impacts that are still being felt.

Carol Bartlett owns and operates REImagine Performance Inc a business that helps niche consulting firms implement sales strategies, processes and training. She says it will take time to realize the real impact of the State of Emergency over and above the loss of eight days of business.

There is a contraction of buying power in the wake of a natural disaster like the blizzard that struck the northeast Avalon last month. That is especially true of retail operations that can’t make up eight days of lost sales.

Bartlett will be providing mini-recovery workshops to local businesses through the St. John’s Board of Trade in the weeks ahead.
