A major project undertaken by artist Jud Haynes blends iconic scenery from Newfoundland and Labrador with the local MINI community for a prominent display at a local showroom.
Haynes designed a 30-foot mural for MINI St. John’s on Kenmount Road, featuring vignettes of familiar sights. It meshes the imagery of colourful townhouses, the St. John’s skyline, and coastal scenery with visuals familiar to MINI enthusiasts.

A Capital Auto Group spokesperson said they reached out to Haynes, having been keen on his work in the past. Their idea was to connect elements of this province with the feeling shared by the local MINI community.
Haynes indicates he was excited to take on the project, as the mural is his largest piece to date.
