Memorial University’s women’s basketball team have advanced to the semifinals of the AUS championship tournament.
The Sea-Hawks beat the Saint Mary’s Huskies in Halifax 72-64 last night to advance to tonight’s game against Acadia.
MUN’s men’s basketball team would not have the same luck, however.
They were eliminated from the tournament by the Saint Mary’s Huskies last night 81-57 in quarterfinal action.
The women’s team will play Acadia tonight at 7:00 p.m. Newfoundland time.
