A stolen vehicle has been returned to its owner, and the man behind the wheel will have to face the judge.
Early yesterday afternoon, RNC officers patrolling centre city St. John’s spotted a vehicle that had been reported missing just the day before.
They pulled over the driver, and charged the 38-year-old man with possession of property obtained by crime, and breaching a court order.
That’s not all. On closer investigation, they discovered he was driving with a suspended licence, which had also expired.
He was released to appear in court at a later date. The vehicle was returned to its rightful owner.
