Environment Canada has broadened the range of snowfall and issued a snowfall warning for the metro region. They had been predicting 15-25 cm Saturday night into Sunday morning but that is now 25-30 cm.
Environment Canada meteorologist David Neal says the winds will be a factor and he does not see any chance of a changeover to rain.
The winds are not at warning criteria but they will gust to about 80 km/h which will create blowing snow and poor visibility.
