Government is looking for input from students on proposed changes to the Private Training Institutions Regulations.
The regulations have not changed since 1999, and since then the private training industry has evolved, according to the provincial government.
The department of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour is looking to update areas such as registration processes, instructor qualifications, student contracts, tuition frees and advertising.
The deadline to provide feedback is March 25 and people can do so by visiting the Engage NL website.
