Despite today’s forecast, there’s another sign that spring is not too far away.
The City of St. John’s is closing the Winter Activity Centre in the Bowering Park pool house this weekend.
The last day of operation is tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Winter Activity Centre in the North Bank Lodge in Pippy Park will remain open, and its services will be extended, where feasible.
The Pippy Park Winter Activity Centre will be open on Monday, March 16th to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, offering ski and snowshoe activities to students who are off for the holiday.
