Road conditions are causing some havoc on the roads on the Eastern portion of the island today.
A portion of the Trans Canada Highway near Ocean Pond is temporarily closed as crews remove a DRL bus that left the road around 5:45 a.m. when conditions were dark and blustery.
The bus was travelling west when it ended up in the median due to whiteout conditions.
Travel is not recommended on the roads as a blowing snow advisory remains in effect.
