The snow kept a lot of fans from watching the Newfoundland Growlers defeat the Adirondack Thunder 6-3 last night.
Around 6,000 tickets were sold for the third game in the homestand, but attendees say only about 3,500 fans attended the game.
The puck was barely dropped when the Growlers took the lead on the scoreboard.
The Growlers hit the road for a three game road trip beginning on Tuesday night against the Brampton Beast. Puck drop is 8:45 p.m. NL time.
