After five years of working towards the first all inclusive community centre for LGBTQ2+, a local organization can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Quadrangle is a group that enables resilience and connection to provide support for existing initiatives of the community.
Charles Murphy, says their group of four people have been working towards making their idea a non-profit organization, and since that part is almost complete it is time to find a board to get it up and running.
They will be a direct point of contact for people who usually go to many different non profits and places for resources.
The community centre would be a safe place for members of the community to go to play games, socialize and be themselves.
Murphy says they want it to feel like a “home away from home.”
