The 12 first responders in Conception Bay North who attended a call at a home in which the patient had flu-like symptoms have been cleared to return.
They were informed that the patient in question tested negative for COVID-19. Eight of those in isolation were firefighters from the Harbour Grace Fire Department, and four were paramedics with Fewer’s and Broughton’s.
All the pertinent health, contact and travel questions were asked during the call, but the presence of flu-like symptoms in the home was not revealed.
