The provincial government has gotten somewhat more specific as to the locations of positive cases of the virus but the new map won’t answer all the questions.
The number of cases in St. John’s stands at 95, by far the most of any municipality. Conception Bay South, the second-largest municipality, has 23 cases followed by Mount Pearl (15), Paradise (14) and Portugal Cove-St. Philips (12.)
Then it gets a bit vague outside metro with the Southern Shore, St. John’s East Extern, Bell Island, CB Central, CB North and Lower Trinity South (23) lumped together. Flatrock, Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove and Torbay have a total of 23 while Placentia, Whitbourne, St. Mary’s, Upper Trinity South and the Isthmus have five. Petty Harbour-Maddox Cove, the Goulds and Kilbride have a total of nine.
Here’s the rest of the province:
Green Bay (2)
Grands Falls-Windsor (1)
Bonne Bay area (1)
Northern Peninsula (3)
Central Labrador (3)
