A store owner in central Newfoundland who went public with his complaints about Atlantic Lottery last week says the corporation has come through with flying colours.
The in-store sale of lotto tickets has been banned by the provincial government, leaving some retail outlets with a heavy inventory that may not come off the books for a long time.
Allan Kelso of A&B Variety in Norris Arm asked ALC to cover the carrying costs, but initially, they refused.
A day after the story aired on VOCM, Kelso said they had a change of heart.
He holds the ALC in the highest regard and says they’re well-respected in his book.
