The source of one of the last two new cases reported in Newfoundland and Labrador on Thursday has not been identified.
One of the two cases – reported on Thursday – was connected to the Kearl Lake outbreak in Alberta, but no known source has been identified for the second case.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says both people are self-isolating and contact tracing has taken place, with no new cases identified.
30 to 35 Newfoundlanders and Labradorians have been tested in connection with Kearl Lake with only one positive case identified to date.
