A collision at Rawlins Cross caused slowdowns in the area Sunday morning.

One of the two vehicles involved, a black car, ended up head-on into a fence.

No serious injuries were reported.

This incident comes just days following the reconfiguration of the area. The traffic lights were reactivated on Friday, converting the area back to an intersection from a roundabout.

The controversial pilot project received mixed reviews from the public and St. John’s City Council.
