MP Seamus O’Regan has spent the past few days in the hospital as a result of what he calls “minor complications” from a prior procedure.
The MP for St. John’s South-Mount Pearl issued an update yesterday afternoon.
O’Regan says the complications are related to a surgery he had in 2017. However, he says he’s doing well and hopes to be home by the week’s end.
O’Regan offered his thanks to the staff working at Eastern Health for their kindness and professionalism.
Been here in hospital the past few days. Have some minor complications from my surgery in 2017. Things look good. Hope to be home by the end of the week.
I’m grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the @EasternHealthNL doctors, nurses and staff. They’re first-rate.
