First responders in Victoria made quick work of a brush fire yesterday.
Members from the Salmon Cove/Perrys Cove Fire Department and the Victoria Volunteer Fire Department were called to Salmon Cove Ridge shortly before 5 p.m.
Due to the blaze being spotted early and a speedy effort from first responders the fire was quickly contained.
Residents are being reminded that the area is still dry, making the risk of fires even greater, and to follow guidelines set out by the province.
