Newfoundland and Labrador is a seasonal home for many who contribute to the province’s economy, but right now those property owners are not allowed in.
Prince Edward Island has made the move to allow seasonal residents in that province to return to their homes, but Premier Dwight Ball says their decision not to allow in those who wish to come to the province for an extended stay will stand.
Ball understands there are people who would love to come back to NL this summer, but our situation is a little different than P.E.I.’s
He says government is considering the situation as the province moves through the alert system.
