As the temperatures warm up and cases remain at a low, those wishing to play some ball are getting their chance in the upcoming alert level.
In early June, should COVID-19 levels remain low, the province will move into alert level three and outdoor recreational activities will be permitted to resume.

The Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, says they’re currently working with some sport organizations through the consultation process.
Fitzgerald says outdoor field sports is what the public health department has in mind, although it will have to be to be done differently than before the pandemic.
She says they’re taking into consideration physical distancing, spectators, shared facilities and equipment.
