Traffic delays in Holyrood continue to cause issues for drivers passing through the area today.
The detour around construction on the TCH near Salmonier Line has diverted drivers through the roundabout near Holyrood causing a significant build-up in traffic.
Crews near detours also reporting traffic is picking up through the detours.

This evening, eastbound traffic is again at a standstill with drivers reporting wait times up to 90 minutes.
Currently, traffic is backed up for kilometers on the eastbound route from the Avondale access road to the traffic circle.
