A 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman are in trouble with the law following an incident in Corner Brook on Sunday morning.
Just before 5 a.m., RNC in Corner Brook responded to a report of items being stolen from parked vehicles in a residential area.
Police located two suspects on the scene and the pair were arrested but not before the man was assaultive and resistive toward officers.
The 21-year-old man has been charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, five breaches of court order, breach of probation and possession of stolen property. He was held to appear in court on Sunday.
The 18-year-old woman was charged with possession of stolen property. She was released to appear in court at a later date.
