A water bomber has been dispatched to a forest fire approximately 5 kilometers away from Cappahayden.
The fire is estimated to be five hectares in size and is not accessible for fire fighters by road, although Provincial Fire Duty Officer, Wes Morgan, says two crews have been dispatched to that location.

Morgan says it is one of three active fires in the province at the moment.
The first fire is on Gull Island, Labrador which is currently 80 per cent contained; the second fire – near Terrenceville – also requires a water bomber according to Morgan.
VOCM News is tracking the story and will provide updates as they become available.
