The capital city is waiving all new residential and commercial permit fees for a number of construction projects effective immediately.
That includes permits needed for patios and decks, fences, sheds, and other general repairs.
Permit applications are still required, but the associated fees are dropped for the rest of the year.
The renewal of expired residential parking permits has been pushed back to July 1. Vehicles with expired 2019 residential parking permits will not be ticketed before that date.
