Three months into the pandemic in Newfoundland and Labrador, and just two active COVID-19 cases remain as the province prepares to lift more health restrictions come Monday.
No new cases were reported again today.

Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald outlined some of the changes coming when the province moves to Alert Level 3.
Gatherings at funerals, burials, and weddings can expand to 20 people as long as physical distancing can be maintained.
Campsites will be allowed to reopen for limited overnight camping, summer day camps can resume with restrictions, medium-risk recreational activities can resume, while outdoor pools can reopen with a limited number of people.

Playground equipment cannot be used, while gyms, fitness facilities, yoga studios, tennis and squash facilities, arenas, dance studios, and performance spaces will remain closed.
Private health care clinics can reopen within certain guidelines, while orders related to the operation of long-term care, personal care homes, and assisted living facilities will remain in place.
Retail stores including those in shopping malls will be able to reopen with certain restrictions and the sale of scratch lottery and breakopen tickets can resume.
