RCMP are investigating the reported theft of a flatbed utility trailer from the side of the Trans-Canada in Whitbourne.

The trailer, which was for sale, was parked across from the North Atlantic gas station in Whitbourne, and went missing sometime between May 31st and June 2nd.

The black Sokal brand trailer is 21 feet in length, with red and white stickers along the frame, and a wooden platform.

The trailer, valued at $5,500, had a black ramp set attached to the rear and had the licence plate TKS926.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
