Police officers are going to hold a non-confidence vote on their chief.
VOCM News has obtained an internal memo from the RNC Association which says the vote will be held on their website from June 4 to June 25, and will be anonymous.
The memo only says the vote is being conducted because of ongoing concerns raised by member officers. All members are urged to vote.
The association, which declined comment, says the results will not result in the removal of the chief.
Chief Joe Boland is not commenting on the matter at this time.
Boland was appointed chief three years ago.
