One man is dead following a two-vehicle collision on the Bonavista North highway near Indian Bay last evening.
RCMP from New-Wes-Valley were called to the scene shortly before 7:00 p.m. last night.
Police say a car, operated by an elderly man, crossed over into the path of an oncoming SUV. The SUV pulled over to the side of the road, but was struck head-on by the car.
Both drivers, a man and woman, were taken to hospital. The man, from Indian Bay, died in the ambulance on the way to hospital.
