If all continues to go well, the province may move to Alert Level 2 by the week of June 22.
Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald provided the update today.
It’s been over two weeks since the last new case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the province, with just two active cases remaining.
She encourages residents to take advantage of the province’s green spaces and to get outdoors while exercising social distancing and other hygiene practices.
