A mother duck and her young ones were able to safely cross a residential street in Grand Falls-Windsor with a little help yesterday afternoon.
According to witnesses, traffic was stopped on a Grenfell Heights street for a few minutes and at first, nobody knew why.
It turned out that Grand Falls-Windsor Municipal Enforcement Officer, Cst. Rod Taylor had stopped traffic to allow a duck and a long line of 11 ducklings to safely cross the street.
