The St. Lawrence Fire Department paid a touching tribute to a fallen member of their team yesterday.
Isaac Kettle was one of four men killed after the Sarah Anne went missing in the waters off St. Lawrence last month. His body was found by fishermen on a beach in Doughboy Cove one week ago.
At a service for Kettle yesterday, members of the department filed into the building two-by-two as Kettle’s helmet was carried in. On one side was Kettle’s name, the other had a picture of a flame with an angel’s wings on it.
