The Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival is going online.
The long standing festival was scheduled to take place this weekend in Bannerman Park but was cancelled in May in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Folk Festival Digital Edition will be launched today, with new episodes premiering each Thursday night throughout the summer.
The first featured performer is Amelia Curran and begins at 8:30 p.m. on the NL Folk website.
