Two drivers zooming along the Trans Labrador Highway have lost their licenses after being caught going over 51 km/h over the speed limit.
Mary’s Harbour RCMP stopped a woman on Route 510 just before 11:00 yesterday morning. The Port Hope Simpson woman was in a hatchback-style car travelling 143 km/h in an 80-km/h zone. She will be without her license for seven days.
Less than 30 minutes later, they stopped a man in the same area going 141 km/h in his truck. The man, who is from St. Anthony, will also be without his license for the next seven days.
