Newfoundland Power has a new president and CEO.
Gary Murray was appointed to replace Peter Alteen, who is retiring on August 1.
Murray is no stranger to NF Power. The company says he began his career there in 2002 and has been a member of the executive team for over five years.
Murray has held the position of vice president of customer operations and is an engineer with utility experience.
Board chair Ken Bennett says although these are uncertain times, they are confident in Murray’s leadership.
