A 21-year-old man was taken into police custody and is facing charges following an unusual incident in the downtown.

RNC received calls around 5:00 yesterday afternoon about a man in traffic at Water and Prescott streets. There were concerns he was creating a hazard for himself and others.

He’s facing charges of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
