There are serious safety concerns in the town of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove caused by coastal erosion on a stretch of Marine Drive between Outer Cove Beach and Middle Cove lookout.
The side of the road closest to the cliff is eroding away.
The town is urgently asking residents and visitors to avoid walking or biking on the water side of the road, which it says has become “increasingly unpredictable.”
Town staff are monitoring the area closely, and drivers are being asked to watch of signs erected in the area.
