The minimum wage in Newfoundland and Labrador is due for a slight increase as of Thursday.
It’s the second step of a four-stage wage increase announced by the provincial government in February.
When October arrives, the minimum wage will increase by 50 cents to $12.15 an hour.
Additional 25-cent increases are also scheduled to arrive in April and October 2021. Further increases are possible based on the Consumer Price Index.
