Unifor has reached out to Loblaws to resume negotiations as they continue the push to get the company back at the table.
The union recently launched an ad campaign directed at Loblaw’s Chairman, Gaylon Weston.
Chris Macdonald, Unifor’s main negotiator, says they will press the issue until Loblaw agrees to start negotiating again. He says that Loblaw has made their position clear publicly.
The strike has been going on for over a month, but MacDonald says he hasn’t seen concern from picketers about how long the strike could drag out.
He says the resolve of members has not changed.
