A Marystown man, who was wanted in connection to an alleged assault, has turned himself in to police.
RCMP say on September 22, an off-duty officer witnessed a passenger in a vehicle being assaulted by the driver, Tyson Young.
When the officer approached the suspect and informed him he was contacting police, the driver sped away.
According to the RCMP, Young turned himself in at the Marystown detachment yesterday. He is being held in custody until a bail hearing on October 15.
