There’s no change in the province’s COVID-19 numbers today.
The Department of Health and Community Services says there are no new cases since yesterday’s update.
There are four known active cases, with 283 total recoveries being reported. To date, some 51,876 people have been tested for the virus.
Meanwhile, public health is reporting that around 85,000 people have booked appointments for a flu shot within the first week.
Health Minister Dr. John Haggie says about 52,000 of those were booked through public health.

As well, so far about 28,000 shots have been administered by pharmacists.
Haggie indicates that he is pleased with the first week of numbers. He says he’s cautiously optimistic, but that they have to keep encouraging people to get the shot.
