This is the weekend when we “fall back” as most of the country returns to standard time.
The clocks went ahead an hour in the spring to give us an extra hour of daylight in the evenings but we plunge into early darkness come Sunday.
The clocks actually go back at 2:00 a.m. Sunday when we go back to Newfoundland Standard Time on the island and Atlantic Standard Time in most of Labrador.
