Quinlan Brothers Ltd. is seeking to clarify the terms of their agreement with Royal Greenland in the public eye.
The company says there is a perception that Quinlan Brothers was sold outright to Royal Greenland. They contend that this is not true.
Instead, they have entered into a partnership with the company that they say follows a vision of “joint ownership and control” that will help enhance past commitments to stakeholders and grow their presence in the province’s fishery.
They believe that renewed investment is needed to secure their future in the industry and that they have shared their plans with the provincial licensing board and have complied with all regulations to get the approval.
The company says Royal Greenland has proven its commitment to the province through its “investment and growth” of Quin-Sea Fisheries.
They affirm that they will remain true to their legacy in the province and that they will continue to hire locally and serve local interests.
