Police in Lewisport are looking to identify a driver involved in a vehicle-pedestrian early last week.
Police say that on the evening of October 27, at around 7:30 p.m., the driver of a light-coloured car struck a pedestrian as he was crossing at a crosswalk at the intersection of Premier Drive and Main Street.
The driver stopped and checked on the person, who at the time, said he was uninjured and told the driver to go on. No information was exchanged.
Lewisporte RCMP are encouraging the driver of that vehicle to contact them. Further, anyone with information about what happened is asked to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
