The City of St. John’s is organizing a holiday lights celebration for Thursday, December 3.
The city is encouraging people to join in a countdown to turn their holiday lights on at 5:45 p.m.
Mayor Danny Breen says everyone needs a little light in these challenging times.
The celebration will take place in lieu of the annual Festival of Music and Lights which was cancelled due to COVID-19.
