The Minister of Industry, Energy, and Tech is highlighting various projects receiving funding over MUN’s Research and Development Week.
Minister Andrew Parsons announced more than $1.6 million going to MUN researchers to celebrate Research Week.
Projects include functional brain imaging and archaeological records, as well as developments focused on aquaculture.
The largest recipient is a project led by Dr. Christopher Kozak that will help reduce the dependency on fossil fuels and minimize waste and pollution. The research received over $450,000.
