A French immersion teacher at Vanier Elementary School in St. John’s has again been singled out for excellence in teaching.
Ashleigh Hudson was recognized with the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence by MHA Bernard Davis on Friday.
Hudson has been recognized twice in the House of Assembly for the use of technology in class as a teaching tool toward environmental causes.
She has helped her school to target fundraising to build a school learning commons for all classes that includes iPads, Chromebooks, robotic and film equipment.
