A Bell Island man is facing provincial and federal charges after he was found in possession of a significant amount of contraband tobacco.
An investigation was triggered earlier this month after postal inspectors identified suspicious packages destined for Bell Island.
RCMP arrested 68-year-old Blair Brown the following week, ultimately finding him in possession of 130 cartons of contraband cigarettes.
He’s due in court early next year.
