The Chabad of Newfoundland is hosting drive-in menorah lighting tomorrow in celebration of Hanukkah.
The Chabad will light an eight-foot Hanukkah menorah at the Viking Building parking lot at 4 p.m.
Pre-packaged menorah kits, donuts, and bottles of water will be handed out.
Rabbi Chanan Chernitsky says Hanukkah has added significance this year.
He says the event is important because Hanukkah represents overcoming hardship and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, which is what people are living through now.
