A 29-year-old man was arrested after an unusual incident on Alexander Street in St. John’s last night.
Police were called just before 10:00 p.m. after a man, who was hanging around garbage bins, raised suspicion among residents.
Police located the man who was wanted on a warrant, and took him into custody.
He was scheduled to appear in court this morning.
